About Mifik

WHAT IS MIFIK

The Genesis of Mifik Global Mission

Mifik Global Mission holds a special significance as it is derived from the names Michael, Flavia, and Kirungi, representing the couple at the heart of this mission. The name “Mifik” is more than just a combination of names; it is a symbol of a divine calling. In 2010, before Flavia and Michael’s marriage, a spiritual father prophesied that they would embark on a mission that would positively impact many lives.

This prophecy became a guiding force in their journey. Initially, with the establishment of the Missions travel company, Michael felt that there was a broader purpose ordained by God. Inspired by a calling to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and communities, with a specific focus on breaking the cycle of generational poverty, they founded Mifik Global Mission.

As they ventured into community transformation, the memory of the prophecy resurfaced, reinforcing their belief that Mifik Global Mission was a divine assignment. The organization stands as a channel through which their shared vision of impacting communities and providing hope to the less privileged is being realized, rooted in a spiritual calling and the promise of transformation spoken over them

Our Vision

A model Christian ministry for child and community transformation in Africa

Our Mission

Our Mission is to liberate children and their communities from the shackles of poverty, cultivating them into productive Christian leaders and fostering self-sustainability

The organization’s strategic approach involves establishing Christian communities throughout Africa, each comprising essential components for holistic development.

The envisioned communities encompass a diverse array of facilities, including a church, schools encompassing elementary, high school, and vocational/trade institutions, a medical facility, a missionary guest house, and a farm dedicated to both crop cultivation and animal husbandry.

The process begins with securing land in rural African areas, where the establishment of a church serves as the spiritual foundation for the community. The schools play a pivotal role in educating and empowering children from impoverished backgrounds, equipping them to uplift their families and emerge as Christian leaders in their respective fields.

Farming operations are integral to achieving self-sustainability, acting as a catalyst for community strength and empowerment. Beyond self-sufficiency, this model holds the potential to transform neighboring villages, drawing in residents and sparking the development of homes and businesses in proximity to these empowered communities.

This holistic strategy not only addresses immediate needs but also aligns with the broader mission of fulfilling the “Great Commission” – making disciples of all nations. By creating opportunities for the preaching of the Gospel and the nurturing of discipleship, Mifik Global Mission aims to bring about enduring transformation in the lives of individuals and communities across Africa.
