Betty is in Primary One at Kito Primary School. She lives with her mother in Minana, Galabi, in Mityana District. Betty and her family are refugees from Rwanda. Her mother does not have a stable source of income in Uganda and struggles to provide for their large family of 11 members. As they continue to search for a more permanent settlement, meeting basic needs such as education, food, and healthcare remains a daily challenge. Betty loves singing and dreams of becoming a qualified nurse in the future. Despite the hardships she faces, she remains hopeful and determined to succeed.
